Itinerary

Overnight flight to Delhi.

Arrive Delhi. Meeting and assistance by our Novaturient representative and then transferred to the boutique home stay Haveli Hauz Khas for an overnight stay.

After breakfast drive to Nawalgarh. Check in at the heritage hotel Roop Niwas Kothi for 2 nights. Late afternoon visit the stables to get to know the Captain and team. Then meet the horses and get acquainted with your trusty steed for the next few days. Ride around the field track to get accustomed to your horse. Evening high tea with Royal family and a briefing on Marwari horses and their illustrious history.

Morning introductory ride through to the countryside with picnic breakfast. The ride passes through villages and beautiful countryside. Not only do you bond with your horse but get a glimpse into the life of the locals as they go about their mornings work. In the afternoon explore the lovely havelis with their stunning frescoes.

After breakfast a delightful ride through Khejri and Acacia trees via Dundlod, a small village situated in the heart of the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. Not a lot has changed here since it was built - almost time warped! On arrival at Churi Ajitgarh check in at the Vivaana Cultural Resort for overnight stay. Rest of the day at leisure to relax or explore the local havelis.

Start of another day of adventure. After breakfast, saddle up and head through the Shekhawati region. Riding through the area brings you closer to the real land; to feel the rhythms of life.  A beautiful land filled with an amazing cultural heritage.  On arrival check in at the charming Castle Mandawa for an overnight stay. Afternoon sightseeing of Mandawa which is often referred as the ‘Open air art gallery of India’. The intricately carved havelis and mansions of Mandawa, sadly, now mostly abandoned, are arguably the best in the entire Shekhawati region.

After breakfast ride out to Mahensar. The landscape varies between sand dunes, cultivated fields and scattered small villages. On arrival check in to the delightful family run hotel Narain Niwas Castle for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, final day of riding with a journey to Alsisar. The beautiful sand dunes have an agelessness about them, giving you the feeling of being a nomad crossing the vast expanses in a caravan!  On arrival check in at the Alsisar Mahal for overnight stay.

After a farewell to the horses and the team drive to Delhi and check in at the Haveli Hauz Khas for 2 nights.

In the morning sightseeing tour of some of the main places of interest in Delhi. Visits will include the loud, pulsating Chandni Chowk market, the beautiful Jama Mosque and a drive past of the rambling Red Fort.  Then continue on to see the impressive India Gate, designed by Lutyens to commemorate the 90,000 Indians who died during WW1. Visit the interesting Bangla Sahib Sikh Temple and Agrasen Ki Baoli.

Transfer to the airport to board your return flight back home.
